block tread tire 4.00-8

The 4.00-8 block tread tire is an optional tire for the smaller models in our ModuFlex series, including compact remote sprayers, remote wheeled lawn mowers, remote high-pressure cleaning machines, remote-controlled wood chipper and other utility equipment.

The 4.00-8 marking refers to the tire size. 4.00 indicates a tire width of approximately 4 inches, while 8 means the tire is designed for an 8-inch rim.

Unlike a traditional ribbed tire, the block tread pattern uses larger, independent tread blocks to provide good grip and stability on different surfaces. It performs well on grass, soil, gravel, dirt roads and uneven outdoor ground, making it a good choice for machines that regularly work in gardens, orchards, farms and other outdoor environments. The open tread pattern also helps clear mud and debris while the machine is moving.

The tire is marked 12 P.R. NYLON, providing a strong and durable construction for heavier-duty applications. It has an inflation pressure of 880 kPa and a maximum load of 800 kg per tire.

With its strong construction and aggressive tread, this tire is a good option when traction, load capacity and durability are more important than simply keeping the machine lightweight and compact.
